Through our life history assessment and talking to the residents day by day we find out individuals\u2019 interests. Where possible we provide them with the opportunity to pursue that activity or interest. This is achieved by a variety of activity programmes both within the homes and in the community.<\/p>\n

Inside activities<\/span><\/strong>
\nOn a daily basis we engage our residents in various activities including individual interests and hobbies, discussions, bingo, arts and crafts, board games, quizzes, skittles, sing-alongs, relaxation sessions, gardening, exercise and pampering sessions including manicures, cosmetics and hairdressing.<\/p>\n

At both of our homes we have external professionals who provide exercise programs, this is fun and is delivered at all levels of ability, seated to standing allowing everyone to join in.<\/p>\n

Holidays<\/span><\/strong>
\nWe may offer our residents the opportunity to enjoy holidays and short breaks within he United Kingdom with accompanying staff. This should be discussed on an individual basis and is subject to additional costs.<\/p>\n

Outside activities and occupations<\/span><\/strong>
\nThe staff team take residents on regular trips. Destinations include the Cotswolds for tea and cream cakes or a meal, the numerous local country parks and gardens, Stratford -upon-Avon, Bourton on the Water and Birmingham markets<\/p>\n

Residents are also taken to concerts and entertainment at local theatres and on local shopping trips.<\/p>\n

We liaise closely with the many local mental health day centres and services which are attended by our residents using Edenplace’ s transport when required.<\/p>\n

Please note: External activities may be subject to additional costs such as admission fees, this will be discussed.<\/p>\n
